Robotic sleeve processing and boxing line

A packaging equipment integrator needed mechanical design for a new robotic sleeve-and-box handling line, with multiple subsystems (conveyors, reject and diverter stations, product fixturing) to coordinate against a tight delivery schedule and a network of outside suppliers.

We delivered the mechanical design for the full sleeve-processing system: structural framing, dual conveyor systems for sleeve and box handling, pneumatic reject and diverter stations, a product staging gate, and a dual-product fixture for robotic pick. The design package included system layout, pneumatic schematics, subassembly and manufacturing drawings, and a bill of materials, with ongoing coordination across the client's mechanical suppliers through factory acceptance testing.

A complete, ready-to-procure mechanical design package was delivered on a coordinated multi-supplier schedule, supporting the line's factory acceptance.
