Problem
A food processor needed a powered guide conveyor rated for washdown duty to replace a manually adjusted guide, with mounting that matched an existing, non-standard pivot-and-lock interface on the line.

Approach
We specified a 100%-washdown-rated stainless powered side-belt conveyor with adjustable AC drive speed, then reverse-engineered the existing pivot and lock hardware to design custom machined stainless adapters so the new conveyor dropped into the current frame without modifying it. Installation was scheduled during an off-shift window to avoid any production impact.

Outcome
The line now runs an adjustable, washdown-rated powered guide in place of manual adjustment, installed overnight with no disruption to production.
